Nestled on the historic 8-acre Shelton Campus near downtown Waynesville, the Haywood Arts Regional Theater (HART) is one of the most celebrated semi-professional community theaters in the Southeast. Established in 1984, HART presents a year-round lineup of Broadway-caliber musicals, classic dramas, lighthearted comedies, and youth theater productions in a charming facility built to resemble 1920s Summer Stock playhouses.
