Gatlinburg TN Chalets and Pigeon Forge Log Cabin Rentals - These privately-owned properties usually serve as vacation homes for the owners for several weeks a year. The rest of the time they're available for rental. You benefit from their choice location (mountain and valley views or stream side properties), privacy, and a full kitchen which gives the option of preparing your own meals. Tennessee Smokies Bed and Breakfast Inns - Where the innkeeper pampers the guest. The innkeeper always has excellent recommendations for local dining, recreational activities, and sightseeing. In season, prices average about $125 a night per couple.
Hotels and Motels - From the spartan to luxurious - Competitive pricing, easy access, and convenience to dining facilities and other activities. Average cost in season: $75 per double occupancy.
Smokies Condominiums - Condos are available for rental on the parkway in Gatlinburg and other major city thoroughfares or in quieter more secluded settings within minutes of all shopping and recreational activities of the Smoky Mtns area. Amenities usually include pool, laundry, game room, and fitness center. Average cost in season: $85 per double occupancy.
Mt. LeConte Lodge (and cabins) - Mt. LeConte boasts the only lodging actually within the Park (other than campgrounds). Accessible only by trail and available only by reservation, Mt. LeConte Lodge and the views of the Smokies Mt. LeConte affords the hardy hiker are well worth the effort. Reservations (approximately $80 per person--includes breakfast and dinner) have to be made several months in advance.
